Kitchen Tips: How to Best Store Herbs

Ingredients

  • Chives
  • Mint
  • Parsley
  • Coriander
  • Basil
  • Dill

Instructions

    1. Storing herbs depends on what type of herbs they are.
    2. Coriander and parsley can be stored in a glass with 2cm of water. The glass gets wrapped in a plastic bag and secured with an elastic band. Leave in the fridge.
    3. Basil is to be wrapped in dry paper towel and stored in a sealed plastic bag. Place in the fridge.
    4. Most other herbs can be wrapped in a damp paper towel, placed in a sealed plastic bag and stored in the fridge.
