Kale: Preparation tips for Cooking Kale Quickly

Kale is the food on everyone’s lips, due to its insane amount of nutrition compared to calories. Kale has so much nutrition it contains nutrients you didn’t even know you needed.

Kale is full of flavour and can be prepared in a variety of ways.

Before Cooking Kale

Chef'n Kale and Greens StripperTo prepare Kale for enjoying its nutritional benefits, use the Chef’n Kale and Greens Stripper from Kitchen Warehouse to strip the leaves from the stem. This useful gadget strips the leaves off the stalk, reducing preparation time enormously. It can also be used with other greens and has smaller holes for a variety of herbs.
Alternatively use a sharp chef’s knife to slice the leaves away from the stalk.

To prepare Kale using the Chef’n Kale and Greens Stripper

  1. Break off a stalk of kale with leaves attached
  2. Insert end of stalk into appropriate sized hole
  3. Carefully pull through until leaves are removed

To Prepare Kale with a chef’s knife:

  1. Hold Kale on an angle and scrape leaves off with end of knife
  2. Remove any remaining leaves with hand
