Forget the mantra your Dad drummed into you about pouring the water while boiling – your temperature controlled kettle will ensure your tea tastes terrific by heating it to the correct temperature according to your favourite leaf type. Optimal water temperature and steeping times for tea:

- Follow supplier instructions.
- Experiment: Try lower temperature, brew for less or more time, use more tea leaves.
- Try cooler water – tea can be ruined by water that is too hot but not by water that is too cold.
