This bitter-sweet Australiano Spritz involves a bottle of Poor Toms Imbroglio Amaro, some sweet vermouth, access to a SodaStream drink maker and plenty of orange slices.
When Griffin Tom Blumer and Jesse Tom Kennedy decided to open a bar in Sydney’s inner west in 2015, the 25-year-olds didn’t have to think too long about what to call it: they both share the same middle name and so the enfant terrible of Australian distilling, Poor Toms, was born. Prep: 5 minutes
- 120ml Poor Toms
- Imbroglio Amaro
- 120ml sweet vermouth
- 200ml SodaStream soda water
- Orange slice, to serve
- Divide the Imbroglio and sweet vermouth between two tall glasses filled with ice.
- Top with SodaStream soda water and garnish with a slice of orange.
