Cucumber contains 95% water and is low in calories. Add it to your smoothie and it will aid your digestion and help in weight loss. This green smoothie recipe serves up to four glasses.


Green Smoothie in Jars
Add your favourite herbs or green fruits into this cucumber recipe for extra flavour and intense green colour.


  • 200g cucumber
  • 150g fennel
  • 250ml apple juice
  • 50ml lime juice
  • 3 tbsp agave syrup (or honey)


  1. Cut cucumber and fennel into large cubes.
  2. Combine apple juice, lime juice, cucumber and fennel cubes into the Magimix blender glass jug.
  3. Add the agave syrup (or honey) and blend continuously until smooth.
  4. Pour into tall glasses and serve chilled.
