Australia’s frozen yoghurt scene started catching on in 2013, with several foreign brands and vendors taking shop in the country. Since then, Aussies have seen multiple variations of this beloved cold treat. Self-serve shops have sprung like mushrooms, and the locals paid attention.

Yoghurt is a healthier cold dessert compared to traditional ice cream because it contains less sugars and more healthy (live) microorganisms which help facilitate proper digestion. Without a doubt, this has become a favourite of health conscious individuals and those who want to lose weight.

But what if there is an even healthier way of having your daily dose of yoghurt? Despite what frozen yoghurt companies say, we don’t have a guaranteed way of knowing what goes in the yoghurt cup. Thankfully, we now have frozen yoghurt makers that can help us create homemade cups of our favourite desserts without having to guess what exactly goes into each serving.

The Cuisinart Yoghurt Maker Collection

For a long time, Cuisinart has been a major provider of ice cream, sorbet, and yoghurt machines. Recently, we’ve added a new range of frozen yoghurt makers to our shop (which you should definitely check out!). These Cuisinart yoghurt makers can help you enjoy homemade yoghurt whenever you want to – right in the comfort of your own kitchen. A good batch of yoghurt shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes to whip up. They are great for first-time users of such machinery, because they are equipped with an easy-lock lid, an automatic mixing arm, a thermostat regulator and a large spout for easy pouring of ingredients. The package also includes a helpful recipe booklet and an instruction manual.

Oh, and if you miss the taste of good old ice cream, these very same machines are on your side, too. Aside from yoghurt and ice cream, you can also make homemade sorbet with these Cuisinart gems!

If the features aren’t the main selling point of these yoghurt makers, then it has to be their adorably cute colours! Check out these variations that you can choose from:
