Before Cooking Kale
To prepare Kale for enjoying its nutritional benefits, use the Chef’n Kale and Greens Stripper from Kitchen Warehouse to strip the leaves from the stem. This useful gadget strips the leaves off the stalk, reducing preparation time enormously. It can also be used with other greens and has smaller holes for a variety of herbs.
Alternatively use a sharp chef’s knife to slice the leaves away from the stalk.
