Making your own sausages sounds more complex than it is. The beauty of creating your own is you always know exactly what goes in and one you have the basics down pat, the sky is the limit when it comes to variations.
Many people are familiar with the flavours of German sausages, but there’s something just as enticing about South American sausages too.
- 1kg of Pork Mince
- 100g of Cheddar Cheese
- 8g Salt
- 15g Paprika
- 5g Cumin
- 5g Onion Powder
- 5g Garlic Powder
- Jalapenos to personal taste
- Mince your own pork in a meat grinder such as Tre Spade, Victoria or your KitchenAid mixer with a food grinder attachment or use store-bought 100% pork mince.
- Mix all ingredients well in a large mixing bowl adding the cheese and jalapenos last.
- Start making sausages.
